In a couple of months where the new generation movies have done relatively well than others, Mollywood will have a surprise offer in 'One'  a horror thriller  movie from a bunch of debutantes, this July. Inspired from a supernatural episode that happened in Scotland in the year 2004, the film follows the journey of a group of friends to a strange place where a supernatural entity lurks waiting to unleash evil upon its hapless victims. The whole movie spans from a Friday evening till the morning of the following Sunday. The total running time of the movie is 103 minutes which includes a song composed by Aswin Johnson.

Directed by debutant Parthan Mohan, the film stars Jagadheesh, Vishnu Nandan, Devika Nambiar, Vinod Menon, Soumya Sadanandan and Rosin Jolly in pivotal roles .The principal location of the movie has been Manimalakkunnu Palace in Pothencode near Trivandrum. All actors in the movie, for the first time in Malayalam & probably Indian cinema, have acted in roles that bear their original / real-life names and mannerisms.Arjun Mohan, the producer himself, has penned down the story of ONE and the director has also extended his role as a lyricist.

Produced by Ministry of Movies, the thriller with its international styling of horror  is expected to give a pleasant surprise to seasoned Mollywood viewers. The movie will get to theatres by the 19th of July.
