Director Ramdas Naidu who is known for his art films has turned author. Naidu has written a book on World Cinema and the book is all set to be released on the 13th of July. Naidu says that this is the first attempt of its kind in Indian cinema and no one has made such a huge attempt. 'I was planning to write a reference book on World Cinema for a while. I have been doing research for the past 20 years and have collected a lot of materials regarding this. It’s a five book volume out of which, the first volume is ready for release' says Naidu. The first volume will be released on the 13th of July at Yavanika Auditorium at evening six pm. Union Minister for Petroleum Veerappa Moily will be releasing the book. Kannada and Culture Minister Umashree will be presiding over the function. Dr Girish Kasaravalli, H S Venkateshamurthy, Dr Kum Veerabhadrappa amongst others will be the chief guests of the function.
