Director Saravanan shot to limelight with his very first venture Engeyum Eppodhum. Subsequent to the critical and audience acclaim for EE, Saravanan has moved on to his second film Ivan Vera Maadhiri wherein Kumki fame Vikram Prabhu is working as the lead hero supported by Ganesh Venkatraman, 'Thadayara Thaakka' Vamsi and heroine Surabhi.
Speaking to a popular Tamil weekly, Saravanan states that the script of Ivan Vera Maadhiri was first narrated to Arya. While he came to know later that Arya did not like the story, Saravanan feels that he does not in any way regret Arya’s decision about not doing IVM. He fully understands that a story need not be liked by everyone.
On the other hand, Saravanan has also apparently narrated a story to Vishal and discussions with the Samar hero are still on.
