This movie has been filmed at a really rapid pace and already 50 % of the movie has been canned. The producers are mighty pleased with the professionalism of the team.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Two songs were recently shot in Switzerland amid tough weather conditions and Ajith's co-operation has come in for much praise from the unit. Tamannah was also part of the shoots of these songs, composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Other than this, Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh has been host to a major part of the film's shoots till now.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Ajith's onscreen demeanor in this film will appeal to the rural masses, aver the producers and in all likelihood, it's going to be a Thala Pongal treat for the legions of Ajith fanatics. In a pre-release press meet, Vishal and Aishwarya Arjun, the lead actors of the film, shared their experience with the media.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Both the actors are eagerly waiting for the film and Vishal is happy that his long time friend, Aishwarya is making her debut in this film. The fight however is lighthearted and has nothing to do with any ego clash, says the source close to the team. Subsequent to the critical and audience acclaim for EE, Saravanan has moved on to his second film Ivan Vera Maadhiri wherein Kumki fame Vikram Prabhu is working as the lead hero supported by Ganesh Venkatraman, 'Thadayara Thaakka' Vamsi and heroine Surabhi.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Speaking to a popular Tamil weekly, Saravanan states that the script of Ivan Vera Maadhiri was first narrated to Arya. While he came to know later that Arya did not like the story, Saravanan feels that he does not in any way regret Arya’s decision about not doing IVM. Earlier we had reported that four films -  Pattathu Yaanai, Ponmaalai Pozhudhu, Sonna Puriyaadhu and Thanga Meengal were due on July 26.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">However it proved to be difficult due to acute shortage of screens. Now unofficial sources say Ponmalai Pozhudhu and Thanga Meengal have withdrawn from the release battle. They have now decided to try their luck after Vijay’s Thalaivaa releases in August.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The buzz is that the two small films just could not get theatres which preferred the mass action comedy Vishal’s Pattathu Yaanai and Shiva’s comedy riot Sonna Puriyathu. Added to that Suriya’s Singam 2 turned out to be a hit and will hold on to some screens and Dhanush’s Maryan releasing on July 19 will surely occupy releasing screens in its second week.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Actually theatre availability position is very bad and even Pattathu Yaanai and Sonna Puriyathu are finding it difficult to get confirmed screens. </div></div>

Remember the film is set in three different milieus- fishing village and feel of ocean surface, deep in desert and underwater scenes.
