Mohanlal has no pair in 'Geethanjali!'

The grapevine was abuzz that Mamta Mohandas would play Mohanlal’s heroine in Priyadarshan’s Geethanjali. 

Keerthi , producer Suresh Kumar and Menaka’s daughter was chosen as the female lead.

Sources close to Priyadarshan said : “Mohanlal will not have any female lead cast opposite him. He will not be romancing in the film. He plays a psychiatrist who has come to sort out a perplexing issue.”

Keerthi will be the only female lead who will have a substantial role in the film. Actually Mohanlal like in Manichitrathazhu will appear on screen only at the interval point.
