In the forthcoming film Punyalan Agarbattis, directed by Ranjith Sankar, radio jockey turned actor Nyla Usha will play the heroine.
She has recently completed the shooting of Kunjananthante Kada, directed by National award winning filmmaker Salim Ahmad, with Mammootty in the lead.
Punyalan Agarbattis is being produced jointly by Jayasurya and Ranjith Sankar, who shot into fame with Passenger. Ranjith has also directed Arjunan Sakshi and Molly Aunty Rocks and has also announced two more projects, Mayflower and Sudhi Valmeekam.
Jayasurya will play the male lead in the film, which will have all the characters speaking in Thrissur accent.
