The grapevine was abuzz with rumours that Vijay Sethupathi is playing villain’s role in Pizza fame Karthik Subbaraj’s new film Jigarthanda. It has Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon in the lead and is being currently shot in Madurai.
Vijay Sethupathi agreed to do a walk in role in Jigarthanda directed by his mentor Karthik Subbaraj. Suddenly it was blown out of proposition and made to look like he would play the villain in the film.
The actor is currently the hottest thing in Kollywood and has no dates till the end of next year. The buzz is that he will oblige Karthik but it will be only a “guest role” and will shoot only for a day.
