Dhanush's Hindi debut, Raanjhanaa which released on June 21, continued its dream run even in its second week at the domestic Indian box-office after raking up 34.97 crores in the first week. The second week experienced a less than 50% drop as the movie netted 17.75 crores thereby taking its total to a handsome 52.72 crores already.
It has been declared a hit already and the makers have recovered their investments. Single-screen as well as multiplex audiences have been unanimous in their acceptance of the movie, directed by Aanand Rai.
Now, into its third week, the movie still has enough screens despite new releases such as Lootera, Policegiri and last week's Ghanchakkar. The good run is expected to continue.
