I took Ajith to Tasmac shop because... - Venkat Prabhu

For all those who have seen Mankatha directed by Venkat Prabhu, you will recall the scene where Ajith and Premji will be at a TASMAC shop trying to buy themselves some ‘spirit’. So it is only natural wanting to know if Biriyani also would feature such scenes.

To this query in an interview for a vernacular weekly, Venkat Prabhu states that he had ‘taken’ Ajith to TASMAC bar because the script demanded it. And adds that Ajith is one person who would do anything for the story and for his character. He further explains it is a known fact in the industry that Ajith gives in his one hundred percent to his role and this in addition to his humane nature is the reason for his phenomenal success.
